Neponsit is a few dozen blocks of single-family homes between Beach 142nd and Beach 149th, with no commercial strip of its own. For most errands the neighbourhood heads east to Beach 116th Street, and Flower Shak sits a block off it — about a mile and a half from Beach 142nd.
Driving. East on Rockaway Beach Boulevard through Belle Harbor. About 1.5 miles from Beach 142nd, just under two from the Beach 149th end. Five to seven minutes off-peak.
Bus. The Q35 serves Rockaway Beach Boulevard west of Beach 116th Street following the August 2025 route changes, and stops within a block of the store.
