When New York legalised adult-use cannabis, every city, town and village had until the end of December 2021 to opt out of hosting retail dispensaries. All three Nassau towns — Hempstead, North Hempstead and Oyster Bay — opted out, along with every village in the county. No new adult-use retail licence can be issued anywhere in Nassau.

Getting here

There is one exception worth naming accurately: a registered organisation in Long Beach, licensed under the earlier medical programme, was permitted to add adult-use sales at its existing site. Beyond that, Nassau residents cross a county line to buy legally. Delivery is the other route — municipalities could decline to host a dispensary, but they were never given the power to stop a licensed dispensary delivering to their residents.

What to expect when we open

Flower, pre-rolls, vapes, concentrates, edibles, drinks, accessories and merch from licensed New York producers, all lab-tested. We take debit and cashless payment, there is an ATM in store, and we have our own parking lot rather than a shared strip-mall one.

  • Opening November 2026. Hours will be published here as soon as they are confirmed.
  • Delivery runs from opening day, across both Nassau and Suffolk.
  • Bring a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID showing you are 21 or older. Everyone gets carded, every visit, and a photograph of an ID is not accepted.
