Flower Shak is at 114-19 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, a block south of the Beach 116th Street strip and two blocks from the boardwalk. If you come off the A train or the Rockaway Park shuttle, we're about five minutes' walk. If you come off the ferry at Beach 108th, we're half a mile west.
We're open until 10 PM Monday to Saturday and until 9 PM on Sunday, which covers the walk back from the beach in summer and the dark evenings the rest of the year.
Subway. The A train and the S shuttle both terminate at Rockaway Park–Beach 116 St. Walk south to Rockaway Beach Boulevard, then one block east.
Ferry. NYC Ferry's Rockaway route lands at Beach 108th Street — about half a mile east, or one stop on the Q22.
Bus. The Q22 stops at Rockaway Beach Boulevard and Beach 115th Street, directly outside. The Q53-SBS from Woodside and the Q35 from Brooklyn both terminate at Beach 116th Street, a block away.
Boardwalk. Two blocks north from the Beach 116th Street entrance.
Driving and parking. Street parking on the boulevard and the numbered side streets. From Memorial Day to Labor Day the blocks nearest Beach 116th fill by mid-morning; the streets north of the boulevard usually turn over faster.
Flower, pre-rolls, infused pre-rolls, vape pens, concentrates, edibles, drinks, wellness products, accessories and merch — all lab-tested, all from licensed New York producers. The live menu reflects what's actually on the shelf.
We take debit and cashless payment, and there's an ATM in store. The shop is wheelchair accessible, and we do curbside pickup if you'd rather not come in.
Rockaway runs on two calendars. From late May the boulevard is busy from mid-morning, and afternoons at the counter get genuinely crowded. Placing a pickup order before you head over is the difference between two minutes and twenty.
Off-season, Beach 116th belongs to the people who live here, and there's usually no wait at all.
A note worth keeping on the page: New York's smoke-free air laws and NYC Parks rules restrict smoking and vaping in a lot of public places, beaches and boardwalks included. Check current rules before planning to consume anywhere public.
